District 5 Church is a welcoming, Christ-centered church serving Wellford, South Carolina, and the surrounding District 5 community. We are a church family committed to helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful relationships with one another, and discover how God has uniquely equipped them to serve.
At the heart of District 5 Church is a simple mission: Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. We want everything we do—from worship and biblical teaching to community outreach and serving others—to help people know God more deeply, genuinely care for those around them, and grow into followers of Jesus who help others do the same.
We believe church should be a place where individuals and families can belong, grow, and make a difference. Whether you are new to faith, looking for a church home, or simply searching for a place where your family can connect with others and learn more about Jesus, you are welcome here.
Our desire is to create an environment where biblical teaching, worship, prayer, community, and service are part of everyday life. We want people of every age and background to know that they have a place in God's family and a purpose in His Kingdom.

Buddy & Amanda Hall
Lead Pastor
Pastor Buddy Hall and his wife Amanda, planted District 5 Church (Formerly known as View Church Duncan) in February of 2023. They have been married for twenty- Five years, have two children and one grandchild. They have served in various ministries prior to the church plant which included youth ministry, prison ministry, inner city ministry and served as an Elder in their home church Abner Creek Baptist. Buddy and Amanda have a heart to reach those without Christ, and to see believers utilize their gifts for God’s glory.
Tommy & Tena Hood
Outreach Directors
Tommy and Tena have been married for 39 years. They have 2 grown children and three beautiful grandchildren. They moved from Gray Court and attended and served faithfully at Beulah Baptist Church in Fountain Inn for 20 years. They have lived in Duncan for a year. They are excited about being a part of District 5 Church (Formerly known as View Church Duncan) as a new church plant. They are very passionate about winning souls for the Kingdom of God.
Dan & Sarah Sharpton
Pastor of Worship
Dan and wife Sarah have been a part of the Church Plant for District 5 Church (Formerly known as View Church Duncan) since 2022. They are both graduates of North Greenville University. They are passionate about community and discipleship that foster an understanding of worship not only as what we do in corporate services but also as our obedience to Christ as Lord in our daily lives.
